It’s that time again, we at 4Fini are kicking off this year’s Vans Warped Tour season with a LIVE streamed artist announcement event, hosted by our incredible partners at Full Sail University, in Winter Park, FL. The entire lineup for 2016’s Vans Warped Tour, presented by Journeys, will be unveiled via a live webcast, direct from Full Sail Live on Tuesday, March 22 at 6 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. CST / 3 p.m. PST.
There will be a pre-announcement meeting for sponsors, artists & management, but in true Vans Warped Tour fashion, we are also providing access for fans, and anyone eager to find out who will be performing at the festival through the live streamed artist announcement.
Along with the announcement of the tour lineup there will be live-streamed performances from selected 2016 artists.
At the event we’ll discuss the tour theme and artwork. This year, the tour art is the handiwork of Jordan Buckley. All artwork will be made available to sponsors for promotional use. Introductions can be made for sponsors looking to create custom gear in collaboration with Jordan.
Expect to hear from experts like, Founder and Producer: Kevin Lyman; Special Events / Marketing Vans: Steve & Kristy Van Doren and Mike Daher; Operations: Julie Grant; Sponsorship: Kate Truscott, Allison Skiff and Steph Mirsky and more.
The purpose of the meeting is to illuminate the plans for this year’s Vans Warped Tour for new and returning sponsors, as well as, give those still thinking about sponsoring the chance to get the inside scoop about all the tour has to offer.
Sponsors of Vans Warped Tour will see 2016 marketing ramp up starting now, and will benefit from / have access to all of it. For example, leading up to the tour announcement and online ticket sales, the site traffic has been ramping up to over 620,000 page views and is now averaging over 35,000 sessions per day.
Mobile traffic continues to grow as the preferred method of experiencing the site and now accounts for over 71% of site traffic, a growth of over 4% over the past year.
Direct to fan communication via the Warped Newsletter, which has a database of 524,000, has seen an increase of 16% over 2015. SMS text database is now over 52,000, showing an over 100% increase over the past year.
In addition, our sponsors have access to exclusive artist performances, signings and appearances. Partnerships that are formed on tour can extend well beyond the life of the tour through access to these great up and coming artists. Sponsors also have the option to attend many of the parties and after parties that the festival has to offer.
We believe sponsoring such an event should give you the chance for further work outside of the festival; which is why we provide you with the opportunity to network with artists and their management.
We provide all of our sponsors with inside information on tour logistics and opportunities so you’re always first to know what’s going on and how it will affect you.
Some specific sponsor opportunities already established on tour are the acoustic basement, non-profit partnerships as well as Warped Eco Initiative partnerships.
Warped Eco initiative will be in effect again this year. To put things into perspective, in 2015, we had 24,000 pounds of recyclables diverted, over 92 pounds of batteries collected, and 122 tons of canned food donated at Feed Our Children NOW!
